The Allianze University College of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) believes that the free health check and physiotherapy service under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme has helped to improve the health standard of the local community, including its students.
Its director of strategic planning and implementation, Colonel (Rtd) Zainudin Mustafa, said the programme was the university''s two-pronged approach to provide health service to local resident and at the same time, to provide practical training for its students.
|"This is our way of contributing to the public. The response to the programme, held at least twice a week, has been encouraging with more than 200 people getting free health check and physiotherapy service from us," he told Bernama after the People''s Prosperity Programme here today.|
The function, held at Sekolah Kebangsaan Seberang Jaya, was opened by Seberang Jaya Assemblyman Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah.
